It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Mary was born June 28th, 1939, in Wilmar California to Charles George Burgess and Floretta Dee Carr.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Gerald (Jerry) Vern Mitchell jr., and son Timothy.
She is survived by son Richard D. Mitchell, son Gerald Vern Mitchell lll, daughter Debrorah Thomas, and daughter Jennifer Andrews. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
The graveside service will be held at the Utah State Veterans Cemetery at Camp Williams, on October 16th, 2023, at 9 a.m. 17111 Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale Utah, 84065
