He was born July 12, 1929 to James and Mellie Romano in Tooele, Utah. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Kennecott Copper after 35 years. He spent many years living life in Yuma, Arizona where he had countless friends. He was the best all-around handy man and was always willing to help. He made sure to live life to the fullest and he had a great passion for his family.
He is survived by his loving companion, Winona and his daughters, Jolene, and LouAnne (Carl); 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; brother, Nick; sister, Florence. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Paul and daughter, Julie.
The family would like to thank AFI Hospice for the care they provided.
