Nikki Deal Salazar

The heavens received our beautiful Nikki Deal Salazar on July 4, 2017. She is now in a far better place surrounded by peace and serenity. Nikki was born December 28, 1974, in Murray, Utah to Arthur Dennie and Pearl Deal of West Valley, Utah.

Nikki studied cosmetology and loved to make people beautiful. She was proud of her Native American Culture and tried very hard to learn the language. She had a talent for dancing and was a member of the Bountiful Stars as a youth, preforming at many Jazz games, Disney World, and numerous other places.

She is survived by her spouse, Eddie Elias Salazar; and her children, Trey Donovan Deal, Serene Rain Deal, whom she loved very much; parents, Arthur and Pearl and in-laws, Stan and Kathy Salazar; and brother-in-law, Brandon Salazar, sister, Kimberly Chacon, who was her best friend, as it should be; her nieces and nephews, Isaiah Arthur Chacon, Ciera Rose Camac, Bobbie Erica Florez,and numerous nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.

She was loved by all of her nieces and nephews for her fun and spontaneous nature. She made each one feel special.

She is preceded in death by little Eddie, their son and sister, Erica.

We will miss our beautiful Nikki, her journey on earth has ended as a new journey with her sister Erica has begun in Heaven.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 13, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Ward House, 4505 South Brians Way (3420 West), West Valley City, Utah. A viewing will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah and one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations are accepted at Valley View Funeral Home.
