Rex Wilding

Rex L. Wilding of West Falls NY, born June 12, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Ut. passed away May 3, 2019. Rex enjoyed life in the outdoors with his family by his side. He was pleased to see his children continue this passion of hunting, fishing and camping with their children. He was proud to see what good men his boys have become. Rex was proud to have served in the United States Army as Sgt. in the 82nd Airborne.

Rex is survived by Colleen, his beloved wife of 31 years, his children Kerry L. Wilding, Daniel F. Wilding and two bonus children, Becki (Penny) and Chrissy (Robb). Rex’s heart held a very special place for his first granddaughter, Nevaeh, he called her “his little shadow”. The two of them had a special bond that will continue forever. His youngest grandchild Oaklee kept a smile on his face. Rex found great joy in his grandchildren that Daniel and Amberly gave him, Corbin always made Rex laugh and he was amazed with Jersey’s dance and gymnastics skills.

Rex was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren with his extended family. Rex loved and missed his sisters and brother Sally, Valerie, Cladean, Mickey and Brent.

A private family viewing will be on May 8, 2019 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home located on 4335 W 4100 S in West Valley City, Utah.
