It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ricardo Navarro De La Torre, age 55, of West Valley City, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. He was born on October 26, 1969, and throughout his life he touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ricardo was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, father-in-law, boyfriend, and friend. He was known for his generosity, his warm spirit, and his ability to brighten any room with his smile. To know him was truly to be blessed.
He is survived by his children, Elizabeth Josefina De La Torre and Matteo Kenneth De La Torre; his grandchildren, Geovani, Ariel, Isabella, Noah, and Gabriel; his siblings, Jose Guadalupe, Maria Veronica, Miguel Angel, and Marisol; his father, Miguel Ávila; his daughter-in-law; his nieces and nephews; his girlfriend; and many more family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory
Family and friends will gather to honor Ricardo Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Valley View Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, UT 84120. Followed by a celebration of life, where his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will be remembered.
Ricardo will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to inspire all who knew and loved him.
