Jerry Erickson Age 73 passed away October 15, 2015 in Magna, Utah. He was born September 7, 1942 in Salt Lake City to Robert and Ann Stilovich Erickson. He married Lucille Lerdahl, divorced; he later married his soulmate Sharlet Mcphie on Sept. 23, 1989.
Jerry loved the outdoors, camping with family and friends, golfing and being a fireman. Jerry was a fireman for 28 years and held a special place in his heart for station 13 where he was the engineer for many years. Jerry was a kind and gentle man gladly giving and helping others in any way he could.
He is survived by his wife Sharlet McPhie Erickson, children Troy (Robin) Erickson, Bill ( Emily) Erickson, Brian Druce, Stacy (Rockie) Gledhill, 11 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Lynn, and sister Roberta Ann.
Graveside services will be Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 S. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday 1 hour prior at Valley View Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.valleyviewfuneral.com.
