Robert K. Snodgrass

Robert Kenneth "Bob" Snodgrass 83, passed away April 19, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bob was born on July 23, 1931 in Salt Lake City, UT to Adelbert G. Snodgrass and Helen E. Buss Snodgrass. For the first 5 years of his life he lived in South Dakota. He and his family returned to Salt Lake – Magna area where he spent the rest of his childhood and young adulthood. Bob graduated in 1949 from Cyprus High School. Bob married Bonnie M. Hayward Snodgrass March 26, 1950. Together they had four children, Linda, R. Michael, Debra & Cory. Bob retired from Kennecott Copper after 42 years. Bob spent a lot of time playing golf during his retirement and watching grandkids play ball, and attending gymnastics competitions. Bob joined the LDS church on May 24, 1954 and on March 28, 1961 he and his wife were sealed together in the Salt Lake Temple. Bob is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bonnie, children; Linda Lee Snodgrass James, Robert Michael (Kathleen) Snodgrass, Debra Snodgrass Kemp, Cory Mitchell (Darla) Snodgrass, 14 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters Rena (Cline) Mills and Carole (Danny) Fabrizio. Preceded in death by his parents Adelbert & Helen Snodgrass. Private Family Graveside services will be held Monday, April 27th at 12:00 noon at Valley View Memorial Park, 4100 South 4335 West. Public viewings will be held Sunday, April 26th from 5:00-7:00 pm and Monday April 27th from 10:30-11:30 am at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy. (10600 S).
