He passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. The son of Larry and Cindy. Brother to Lindsay(28) and Uncle to Oakley(7). Ryan and Oakley shared a special, caring unbreakable bond. Growing up, Ryan enjoyed all things Scooby-Doo as well as spending time at his Grandma and Grandpa Davies' house; listening to his Grandpa Eddie play accordion, hanging out with his Uncle Paul (Barbara), and spending endless hours with his Grandma Leslie. Ryan attended Farnsworth Elementary, Taylorsville High School and graduated from Hartvigsen. He loved the many years that he worked and played at Abilities and Choices, where he made many friends and adored the staff members who were all amazing with him. He was able to participate in the Special Olympics competing in track, swimming, bowling, and soccer; always enjoying all of the medals he received! He did all of this with many smiles and laughs, all the while suffering with debilitating seizures. Thank you to all of the people who gave him their time, resulting in his huge smiles and laughter; with extra thanks going to Ruddy and Cleaver for caring for his needs. A very special thank you to Laurie, who selflessly gave us the most precious gift in the bundle of pure joy that is Ryan.
The viewing for Ryan will be held at Valley View Funeral Home on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 6:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m at Valley View Funeral Home with a short viewing period an hour before.
