

Sharon Gail Baker was born December 1st, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, to Leroy and Allene Kingery (Frisbie).
Gail and her younger brother Greg lived on a farm in Greenville until the family moved to Beavercreek, Ohio when they were in elementary school. Gail graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1965. Shortly after, Gail was introduced to the love of her life Leslie Sherman Baker when he came home on leave from the Navy with a friend.
On April 4th, 1966, they were married and had two children, Christopher Douglas, and Melissa Kaye. The family moved from New Carlisle, Ohio, to Granger, Utah, in 1977. Gail and Les remained in their home in West Valley City, raising their two children until Les passed away in 1998. Gail stayed in their home until just before her death.
Gail worked for twenty years at O.C. Tanner. She made some life-long friends at the company. After retirement, Gail also worked at the Airport Gift Shops for seven years. Gail loved to travel, cook, go shopping, and keep in touch with family& friends on the phone.
Gail is survived by son Chris (Heather) Baker; daughter Melissa Stapley; brother Greg (Jenny) Kingery; granddaughters Heather (Chris) Twede, Samantha Nunn, Jessica (Noah) Johnson, Sierra Stapley; grandsons Tanner Baker, Dayton Baker; and several cousins, in-laws and great friends.
Gail is preceded in death by her husband Leslie Sherman Baker; parents Earl Leroy Kingery, Allene Norma Frisbie; and loving pets Daisy and Doodoo
The family would like to give a special thanks to Ciera and Kacee at Inspiration Home Hospice for their kindness and support. And to Jill Moser for being a constant source of laughter and friendship during these difficult times.
