A beacon of hope with a heart of gold, a zest for life and a compassion for others, Shauna Callahan passed away on May 12, 2014 with her family at her side. Shauna's spirit has moved on to stay with her grandfather Red Mayne, her uncle Ed Mayne and her little sister, Jenny Callahan. Her son Amir Anthony Rezaei and her daughter Shireen Sinead Rezaei love her and will miss her dearly.Shauna loved outdoors activities: hiking, biking, camping or simply sitting out on the family cabin's deck counting the boats on the lake. She enjoyed cooking and was an amazing artist. Her creativity showed in her children's Halloween costumes to activities with her students at Oquirrh Hills Elementary School. Shauna was born in Oceanside, California on November 21, 1967, the daughter of Connie Ruth Webb and Michael Callahan. Shauna gained two sisters and another loving father, Craig Vest Webb. Shauna was the oldest of her two brothers Michael (Tonya) Callahan, Shane Ian (Katrina) Callahan, and her four sisters, Michelle (Daniel) Boone, Shannon (Matt) Sager, Jenny Callahan, Natalie (Mark) Holley. Shauna had two close friends - Keith Debus and his daughters, and Massoud Rezaei, who was at her side as she battled stage-4 colon cancer. Shauna's family and friends would like to thank the doctors, nurses, aides, volunteers and staff at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital. A celebration of Shauna's life will be held on May 22, 2014, at Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, from 6 to 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.
