Wendy Hastings

1957~2014

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and daughter, Wendy Ann Hastings, returned to the arms of her loving mother at her home on July 15, 2014. Wendy was born to Joseph Raymond Jones and Carolyn Louise Jones on May 27, 1957. She graduated from Cyprus High School in 1975. She married the love of her life and soul mate, George William Hastings, in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity on June 15, 1978. They has two sons, Michael Aaron and Ryan Joseph Hastings. Wendy was an active, faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she held many callings. She worked for many years at First Security and Wells Fargo Bank.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Louise Jones.

She is survived by her father, Joseph Raymond Jones; brothers, Kenny, Melvin (Carla), Donald (Robin); husband, George W. Hastings; sons, Michael A. (Evelyn), Ryan J. (Joanna); grandchildren, Alexis, Kade, Austin and Josh.

Funeral Services will be held Monday July 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Copper Hills Stake Center, 6710 W. 4145 S., WVC. A Viewing will be held Sunday from 6:00-8:00 at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 S., WVC and one hour prior to the service. www.valleyviewfuneral.com
