Funeral services to take place Friday, September 17th, at 10:30 AM at Shoreline Baptist Church, 10350 Ellis Ave., Fountain Valley, CA. 92708. Viewing at Westminster Memorial Park, Thursday, September 16th, 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
Claudine was born August 31, 1918 in Martha, Oklahoma, to Charles and Lucy Ann Saunders.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and was a Teacher for 45 years. The last 27 years at Iva Meairs Elementary School in Garden Grove, CA.
She loved to garden, sew and fellowship with her friends at Shoreline Baptist Church. But, most of all she loved basketball and her beloved Lakers.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bud; sons, Ron and Bill; daughter, Sheryl; granddaughters, Courtney, Jennifer and Kimberly; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Mackenzie, Andrew, Ryenne, Jackson and Travis.
