Dan was born August 30th, 1969, in Milford, MA. At the age of 3 the family moved to Visalia, CA. where he attended school. He graduated from Redwood High School in 1988. Growing up he was active in AYSO soccer and was a member of the Visalia Vikings Swim Team where he was a standout swimmer.
Following graduation, he moved to Westminster, CA and was employed with Sign Methods, INC. where he worked as a sign installation supervisor until the time of his death.
Dan loved the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. He will always be remembered for his sweet and gentle disposition.
He is survived by his parents, Dick and Carol Thompson of Visalia, Ca. and Dick and Dolly Ross of St. George, UT.; brother Rich (Charlene) Thompson and nephews Steven (Jasmin and daughter, Merah), Richie and Nicholas; sister, Sue (Tim) Hofer of Mina, SD and their children Brianne (Marty and daughter, Ella) Donat, AJ, and Kelsey.
