His funeral will begin at 2:30 PM on Friday, January 2. 2015 at Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster, CA. David was born in Grand Rapids, MI in June, 1933. David married the love of his life, Carol Jean Sands, in 1963 - they were married for 50 years.
David worked as a commercial artist, doing what he loved, for over 35 years. He was retired since 1995, and enjoyed an active life traveling all over the world.
David is survived by his brother Daniel G. Black, his sister Gloria E. Black, his two sons, Brad Peterson and Daniel Black and his wife Kimberly; and his three grandsons and 9 nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, in 2013.
Father, Husband, Grandpa, and friend, David Black will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be provided to the Assistance League of Huntington Beach.
