Time sure flies,  but I still remember our last time together, full of love, fun and her sore tooth! I think of Debbie from time to time and, still miss her.  This weekend, Debbie Ann will be missed at our family reunion but not forgotten, as we remember her well with much love and fondness.

I miss my dear cousin.  So grateful I spent time with her on my last trip visiting family.  It had been 25 years since we saw each other and we just picked up where we left off. Still, it was not enough time together.

Wonderful, big hearted Debbie worked for my husband, Dr. Richard Woerpel at Avian and Exotic Animal Hospital in the '80's.  I was lucky enough to also work with her there.  I believe she is shown holding Bazil, my beloved Green Winged Macaw, in one of the tribute pics.  Few people could even touch him but Debbie had the magic!  If I close my eyes and listen, I can hear her infectious laughter!
One thing is for certain, she is Over the Rainbow Bridge now having been met by ALL of the wonderful animals she loved and took care of.  I am sure the beautiful echoes of her laughter will forever be heard if we just listen.  I miss you Deb.  Take care of Bazil and Dr. Woerpel for me now.

Debbie was the only person I ever knew who had tame canaries. She was so loving and kind. I had the pleasure of working with her at Avian and Exotic amAnimal Hospital and laughing with her. She was a delight, my heart goes out to her family. She will be Missed by all the people whose heart she touched!  Karen

I met Debbie several years ago at Brook Ellis. She was so smart and funny and extraordinarily kind to me, especially when my older pet became terminally ill.  She was a very special person. The world is a little less special without her.
