Marie (also known as Mom) worked as a Radio Dispatcher for the CHP and retired from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in 1982. Marie was known to many as “Mom” because she always followed up on her officers and deputies in the field to ensure their safety.
Mom moved to the Hesperia / Victorville area after retiring to be close to her mother and brother.
Mom is survived by her children Gary Bridges of Oregon City, Oregon, Terry Bridges of Trabuco Canyon, Robin Thompson of Hesperia, grandson Devon Bridges of San Juan Capistrano, California.
In lieu of flowers please make blood donations to the American Red Cross or donations to the MDS Foundation in Marie’s name.
