What I remember most about Aunt Dorothy, she was soft spoken,had a good sense of humor,a very caring person. I so enjoyed our trip to Disney Land and Knott's Berry Farm!!Love, Michele Quigley

Your mom will always live on in our memories. Special memories of how  patient she was taking Andrea and us to the mall shopping. We would find her waiting for us at the bookstore curled up with a book. And all those days at Huntington Beach! When sadness threatens to creep into our thoughts may you find comfort in those memories.

So thankful to have known Dorothy. She was so sweet and kind. I enjoyed my time with her and her family. I loved her stories about her life as a  student nurse, to being a mom to little ones, to being the caring grandma to the adventurous RV jazz-traveler.. I learned what true love was through this time.. that I will always cherish. She will forever will be missed!! Prayers for comfort and peace to the family and friends of Dorothy.

Andrea and Don, please accept our sincere sympathy in the loss of your mother , so soon after the loss of Don's mother.  You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers.  Even though we cannot be there in person, we will be remembering you on March 5 - such a special day - and let us know if there is anything we can do.  We love both of you. What a gentle person with such a caring heart; and a strong woman. My thoughts and prayers with you Andrea, Lynn, Julie, Jen, and dad. Dorothy was always so kind to me.

I wanted to express my condolences to the entire family.  I know we haven't had a lot of contact over the years, but I have fond memories as a child and adult of Aunt Dorothy.  I still remember our trip out to see Uncle Jack and Aunt Janice and also to visit you all and our trip to Disneyland together. I truly believe there was a gene in all the Davenport siblings of being genuine and caring people and I am proud to be part of this clan. I believe they all have found peace on the other side.  Know you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
