Elizabeth Castro

Elizabeth was always smiling and laughing. She loved cooking, shopping with her friends and taking out her two dogs, Bruno and Charlie. Elizabeth loved children, listening to jazz and swing music and scrapbooking. She was always more willing to give than receive. Being such a detailed person, she was also a hard worker and worked for UCI in their culinary department for 10 years.

Her loss was sudden and will leave many wishing they had more time with her joyful spirit. She was very loved by all she met and is survived by her; mother, Ramona Palomera, father, Florentino Castro, sister, Sandra, brother, Florentino, half-sister, Jaqueline, half-brother, Bryan, Godsons, Max and Liem, Goddaughter, Joy, plus many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Elizabeth went to heaven holding orchids (her favorite flower). She was celebrated with mariachi music and a beautiful dove release by her family.

A visitation was held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm in the Westminster Memorial Park Main Chapel. Services were held on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 12:00 noon in the Westminster Memorial Park Main Chapel with an interment service that followed.
