September 2, 1924 - January 27, 2013
Gladys Tyler White passed away peacefully after a long illness Sunday night, January 27 at 11:45 pm. She was born Gladys Irene Tyler in rural Hanover County, Virginia on September 2, 1924, the last and thirteenth child of Asa Atwood Tyler and Mary Ellen Reed.

She was immensely proud of her work on the Apollo and Space Shuttle programs. Her retirement allowed her the time to travel throughout Europe and the US.
Funeral services will be held at Westminster Memorial Park on Sunday, February 3, at 12:00 noon. Gladys will be interred in the family plot in Virginia.
