Joanne Roberta Davies

Joanne Roberta Davies, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 30, 2025, in Huntington Beach, California, at the age of 86. She was born on November 11, 1938, in Toronto, Canada, and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family.

Joanne met the love of her life, Harold Davies, through a mutual friend, and the two were married in July of 1958. Together, they shared 63 beautiful years of marriage, building a family rooted in love, warmth, and togetherness.

Joanne was a dedicated employee of the Ocean View School District, where she worked for many years before retiring. She took great pride in her work and cherished the friendships she made along the way.

Family was the heart of Joanne’s world. She found her greatest joy in time spent with loved ones and was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. Joanne also had a love for travel and created many cherished memories exploring new places with those closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Davies. Joanne is survived by her daughter Dianne (Randy) Thompson, her son Ronald (Tamara) Davies, and her grandchildren Cole (Nicole) Thompson, Garrett Thompson, Danielle Davies, Ronald Davies, Jr., and Regan Davies.

Joanne will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of family, and her warm, welcoming heart. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and the memories she helped create.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 8th at 12pm at Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary in the Main Chapel.
