He was born in Orange, California to parents, John E. Daetweiler Sr. and Mildred Daetweiler. He is the beloved husband of Roberta Daetweiler, father of Leslie Goodale(Mike), Nancy Daetweiler, Cathryne Slater (Dave), predeceased by step son Robert Palmateer. Also survived by grandchildren, Joshua Dotson, Jessica Slater, Sydney Whitecross, Angelica Larson, Michala Goodale and great grandson Gabriel Dotson and sister Judy Davis. Services will be on Sunday March 2, 2014 at Friends Community Church, Midway City, CA at 2:00pm. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew him.
