Lee met her future husband when she was 14, Dorrence and Lee married when she was 16, he had to report for duty as a Corporal Rifleman for WWII in Okinawa, Japan. Dorrence was wounded in the war in 1945; he was in many hospitals for many years. Lee spent every moment she could visiting him in the hospital. Dorrence and Lee spent many incredible years together; they pulled a fifth wheel around the Country and would love to visit family and friends. She loved to cook and every family birthday was celebrated at her house with a great meal lovingly made by her and all she ever asked is that the birthday person stands next to the chalkboard for their yearly picture.
Lee’s children would like to express their deep sense of loss from her passing. The family would also like to thank all of Lee’s family, friends and neighbors for the love and support given to her throughout the years.
