Margaret Ellen Sexton

Margaret Ellen Sexton lived a full life. She was born on February 19, 1934 in Alva, Oklahoma. She was married to Howard (Bud) Sexton for 60 years. She is survived by her 5 children, Harlin, Ethel, James, Daniel, Brenda and their spouses along with 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud in July 2010, and her eleven brothers and sisters. Margaret passed away on August 27, 2014 at the age of 80 in her Garden Grove home surrounded by her children.

Margaret was a rural farm girl, born in Oklahoma and is the youngest of 12. In 1950 she married Bud Sexton. After a few years of farming and with 2 kids, they packed all their worldly goods in their pick-up truck and moved to Southern California. There they raised their 5 children in Garden Grove. Margaret was the back bone to the family and she loved her family unconditionally.

Margaret cared for her family with love and worked at various jobs over the years including manufacturing, education, retail and retired from working over ten years at Survive Air. She enjoyed family gatherings and entertained with her unique charm and humor. After she retired, she connected with the Westminster Senior Center and made crafts for the bizarre. Her specialty was making angel ornaments and pins.
