Mildred Lucille Condon Arnold

Arnold, Milly (nee Condon): born in Davenport, IA on August 23, 1936 to Walter and Esther (O'Hern) Condon and passed away on May 14, 2014 in Westminster, CA after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer.

She attended school in Barnum, IA and graduated in 1954. She married the love of her life John Arnold on April 23, 1960. They were set up by their younger sisters in December of 1958 when John was home on leave from the Navy. Their romance and devotion to each other was incredible and lasted their lifetime. Milly worked for Mercy Hospital in Fort Dodge, IA until starting her family. They moved to Costa Mesa, CA in 1967. Milly returned to work in 1982 as a receptionist at Mater Dei High School. After 10 years at Mater Dei, she began working for Dr. Khonsari as an office assistant until her retirement. Milly will be remembered for her devotion to her faith, family, and friends.

Preceded in death by John, both parents, brother James Condon and sisters Mary Ethel Coleman and Carmella Condon. Survived by children Patrick, Tony (Patti), Carmella (Ray) Snytsheuvel, Amy (Brian) Martin, all of Orange County, CA; ten grandchildren, Brittany Arnold, Cortney (Kevin) Angeley; Danielle (Jason) Snyder, Jefferson IA; Andrew, Ryan, Emma and John Evan Snytsheuvel; Kaleigh, Molly and Jack Martin. Great granddaughters, Evelyn and Lacey Snyder; and Bella and Luci Arnold. Brother Darrell (Carol) Condon, sister-in-law Delores Condon and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation and Rosary May 21, 2014 Westminster Memorial Park from 6-8 PM. Rosary (10 AM) and Mass of Christian Burial (10:30 AM) May 22, 2014 Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Fountain Valley, CA.
