Robert Leo Baumgartner

A funeral mass will be held at 12:30 PM Wednesday, November 13 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery with a reception at his son’s afterward. Arrangements are by Advantage.

Bob was born in Rochester, New York to August and Mary Elizabeth Baumgartner in 1939. He went to school at General Motors Institute (now Kettering University) before joining the Air Force in 1962. While stationed at Holloman AFB, New Mexico, he met and married Lois Walters in 1964. After leaving the military in 1983, he worked as an engineer for TRW until his retirement in 1994.

Bob always had an opinion about everything, and he admitted that he was almost always right.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, and remembered by his son, Michael Baumgartner and his wife, Paige; son, Jeffrey Baumgartner and his wife, Karen; son, Eric Baumgartner; daughter, Theresa Baumgartner; daughter, Johanna Burgueño and husband, Rigoberto; daughter Karen Cabrera and husband, Jorge; his sister Margaret Skiba; and seven amazing grandchildren.
