Robert D. Clifton passed away on January 9th at age 55 after a brief and unexpected illness of cancer. He was a long resident of Orange County and he attended UCI and Cal State Fullerton before opening his delivery business, M.D. Transit Inc., which served Southern California.
During his formative years, he was heavily involved in athletics such as tennis, softball, and golf as well as being an avid fisherman. He was an extremely hard worker, dedicated and loving family member, and a loyal friend who was always willing to help anyone in need. He is survived by his: wife, Rebecca Clifton; two daughters, Amber Clifton and Ashley Clifton; mother-in-law, Cheryl Candow; father, Charles Clifton; mother, Nicole Kunnecke; and stepfather, Benton Kunnecke.
