Sandy, I wanted to say thank you for all you did for me and all the flying trips you took me on, even letting me fly the plane. Showing me stalls and lazy-eights. It was great fun. You encouraged me to fulfill my life long dream of becoming a pilot. It took many years for it to happen, but it finally did. I just wish I could have told you in person. You were a great friend and loved by many. RIP.

Sandy was an amazing force at Valley and I will never forget the times we spent together. You gave my Maverick a great life(my black lab) and I know you are both hanging out together now!!

What an amazing woman!  I loved her spunk, sense of adventure, and dedication to Valley and her students.  A tremendous loss.  I'm sorry I missed her service...I just heard, and I would have wanted to honor her by being in attendance.  Still, I know her family must know how many of us respected and cared for Sandy. God bless you, Sandy and prayers for your family in finding strength during this difficult time.

As a Valley teacher I will always remember Sandy's commitment to the Valley students.  I was inspired by her spunkiness and willingness to say what needed to be said anytime and at any place.  And above all she had a warm welcoming personality to everyone.  In my first years at Valley she made me feel like I was a part of a family at Valley.  I miss her dearly.

Heather,  The service was wonderful.  Just the way your mom would have wanted it.  Sandy was always there to help me with scheduling my classes, and she wouldn't give up until she found a solution.  She was a kind person who couldn't do enough.  I would always say to her "Go home Sandy"  Well she is home now.  See you there soon.  XOXO

Dear Sandy & Heather-
Your Mom was a special woman to so many.  I had the great pleasure to know you and have you, Heather, in my English class at Valley.  Your mom was so proud of you, and she was a special person to so many of us at Valley.  Her spirit will live on with all of the wonderful memories we have of her.  She is at peace, and 
we have been so blessed to have had her in all our lives.

Mrs. Ruller was a great lady! I have fond memories of Valley High School and her smile was always a welcomed sight.  My thoughts and prayers to the family...May she rest in peace...

Aunt Sandy,
Although the miles apart have precluded a much more familial connection, I will always remember the hospitality that you and Uncle Gordon gave me on the visit I was able to make those years ago.  You opened your house for a virtual stranger and when I left we were no longer strangers but family.  One other memory I have is when you visited Edmonton, and my Dad, my sister Sher and I drove you down to Calgary for the Rodeo and Chuckwagon races at the Stampede. 
I was always proud to talk about your flying accomplishments in the Powder Puff Air Derby and of your dedication to your students as a Guidance Counsellor. You are at peace now.
My deepest condolences to Heather, Alan and Cassandra.

Dear Sandy, What memories we had at Chapman College. Then you went on to a job at Santa Ana Valley while I stayed back to get my Masters.  Then, what luck, we meet up again at Valley and work together 36 years. What great careers we had.  Sandy, I always admired your dedication to sport and your commitment to the ideals of educating teenagers. You were the most fair Athletic Director I ever worked with. You were an amazing person and I will really miss you.

It seems like yesterday when we graduated our seniors and wondered how in world did we do it. Your unparalled devotion and kindness to the students of Valley will never be forgotten or equalled. I also cannot tell you what an impression you left on me on how unselfish you were with your commitment to making sure that things were done correctly.
