

She was the 5th child of 12 raised by parents, William & Annie
Scott, was born on October 5, 1922 in Irasburg, Vermont.
Thelma is predeceased by her husband, Nicholas, with whom she shared 61
years of marriage, her children Peter, Ann, Nick & Jane and their families.
There are 6 grandchildren Darlene, Michael, Timothy, Veronica, Pamela, &
Alan. From these grandchildren along with extended family, the family of
Thelma Karagines includes 29 great-grandchildren and 7 great
great-grandchildren.
Sharing in the loss are Thelma's sister, Winnie Gallup, & brothers Clair &
Walter Scott & their families. Thelma is predeceased by sisters Nellie,
Doris, Norma, Annie and brothers Warren, William, Richard & Robert.
Occupations held by Thelma have been diverse. During her early years, she
worked as Housekeeper, Cook & Country Singer. After marrying Nick, the
family moved to Vermont doing farming, logging, & raising livestock. The
family moved to Florida in 1950, she held various jobs culminating as
Quality Inspector for electronic products including working on space
programs. In 1969, Nick & Thelma moved to California continuing her career
in electronics. In 2003, she moved back to Florida and ultimately became
"Shop Mom".

followed by a graveside service and reception at Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683
