Tyler, to my beloved only son... As this page comes to a closure,  My heart is still heavy but filled with so much love for you. I truly miss you so much and the emptyness my heart feels won't ever disappear.. Your dog Varuka is growing out of her puppy stage but will always be our baby. Your sisters Haley & Tracie are ok and continue on with their schooling , and Carissa keeps me on my toes. I'm still working all the time.. More so because you aren't home. I miss your cooking and you yelling for me to come sit down and to stop cleaning and to just sit with you on your bed and watch a good movie or a TV show on the sofa!  It's just not the same. My shopper who loved to toss food in the shopping cart and who always wanted to go places with me so I was never alone.. My tears still appear out of no where at times, but it's okay because it allows me to remember you and all the fun times we had. They are tears of missing you and all the joy you brought my heart. Son I know I raised you as a single Mom but wouldn't change a thing. You are the best son a mother could have, and you watched over us as the man of the house. I have one regret I wish I would of been able to speak at your funeral but after arranging everything by myself and preparing for it all son it was the hardest day of my life to say goodbye to you. I just couldn't of spoken. I want you to know that I will always be so proud of you and I love you so very much and I did everything you wanted for your Funeral all the white roses and your boxer sat with your sisters in front she was perfect. Tyler the church was full and their was standing room only. That touched my heart. I never turned around from the moment I sat down and when I stood up to meet your friends I was overwhelmed that so many of your friends came to pay respect to you . So very heartfelt . I love you forever, no one will ever fill your void son. You will always be my only beloved son. I love you forever Tyler, your Mom xoxo

My dear son Tyler,
It's only been a year since we lost you son... seems like twenty to me...I try to tell myself that your in a much better place now, not sick anymore, and having peace of mind...but it's still hard to accept...I am so sorry that the last few years we weren't  close...and I cry pretty much everyday I think about that and about losing you...I have a few pictures up around the house of you...two of the ones with you and nanny and grandpa Elmer in them are hard to look at....but the one your mother had put on the back of your memorial pamphlet is by far the hardest for me...I try not to let Tracie see me crying because I know I need to be as strong for her and her two sisters, as you were fighting your illness...but you set the bar way too high though Tyler...I can't begin to imagine how much this is affecting the three of them...they all lost their big brother at very young ages...I know it would have screwed me up because I grew up wanting to be just like my big brother...I hope you read the book,Heaven Is For Real,so that you knew that when you passed away we would all be together again in heaven one day...and I know in my heart that you and I are best of friends now Tyler...I love you son and miss you so much...till we meet in heaven....GOD BLESS YOU

Tyler, it was so very difficult to say good bye to you today. I will miss you so much! You and I had so many fun times and I'll cherish those moments forever! Love you!

Tyler you were one of the funniest and most dedicated people I've ever known. It means a lot that you'd let me visit you with Haley and we'd laugh for hours and you guys would practice routines and yell at her for not working hard enough. Although you are incredibly missed, I am glad your soul is at ease and you are no longer in pain.  You will always be remembered and loved.
