Dorothy Helen Clark

1931~2017

Dorothy Helen Clark born May 31, 1931 passed away peacefully on September 26, 2017 at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Wellington and Mabel Richardson and son-in-law, Blair Irvine. Dorothy married Cecil Clark on November 9, 1948 and in their early years they farmed together. They eventually moved into Stoughton where they purchased the Locker Plant. Later they ran the laundromat together. During the years the children were growing up Dorothy and Cecil attended numerous sporting events to cheer their kids on and later cheered on the grandchildren and great grandchildren. After the children grew up, Dorothy and Cecil did a lot of travelling, RVing across North America and enjoyed many bus trips and other trips with friends. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Cecil Clark of Stoughton, SK; children; Marilyn (Vern) Fowlie of Medicine Hat, AB, Jerry (Fern) Clark of Stoughton, SK, Jim (Kalinda) Clark of Beaumont, AB, Carolyn (Kelly) Martin of Arcola, SK, 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Marion Reles; brother, Arnold (Lil) Richardson as well as numerous nieces, nephews,relatives and friends. A Memorial Service for Dorothy was held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Grace United Church, Stoughton, Saskatchewan with Elizabeth Goodson officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of The New Hope Pioneer Lodge @ Box 38, Stoughton, Saskatchewan S0G 4T0.
