

Marilyn was predeceased in death by her husband, Joe Colby; parents, Bob & Minnie Wilson & Joe & Muriel Colby; brother, Bobby (Margaret Rose) Wilson; sister, Irene (Larry) Buck; brothers-in-law, Marvin Colby, Ralph Tanner, Dave Middleton & Harold Janecke.
Left with a lifetime of cherished memories is Marilyn’s family daughter, Sheila Colby (Murray) of Regina, SK; her son, Jeremy (Danielle) & children Xavier & Yara; Murray's children, Heather (Mark) & children, Wesley & Millie and Devin (Michelle); son, Dale (Laurette) Colby of Radville; his children, Lee (Sarah) & daughter Andi,Kristin (Jeff) & son, Blake and Jeff’s daughter, Lily; Curtis (Ashley) & children, Kendall & Harper, Laurette's children, Echo (Jay) and children, Jacey, Cash & Liv, Jade (Aaron) & daughter, Vayda & Aaron’s daughter, Emily; Dove; son, Wayne (Donna) Colby of Montmartre, SK & children, Jessica & Tyson, son, Glen (Ethel) Colby of Rose Valley , SK and his children, Kyle & Shaelyn; Ethel’s children, Crystal, Trevor & Terry; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Tanner, Shirley Middleton, Frances Janecke & Theresa Colby as well as numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
A Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Fletcher Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, Saskatchewan, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Graveside Service & Interment for Marilyn followed at Gap View Cemetery, Forget, Saskatchewan with Monica Dayman officiating. Pallbearers were Lee Colby, Curtis Colby, Jessica Colby, Tyson Colby, Kyle Colby, Shaelyn Colby and Blake Gatzke.
A Celebration of Marilyn’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 133, Stoughton, Saskatchewan on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with Monica Dayman celebrating.
