Michael "Peewee" John Edward Laurent

Michael John Edward Laurent “Peewee” late of Red Deer, Alberta, formerly of Weyburn, Saskatchewan

who passed away on September 29, 2021 at the age of 46 years.

Michael made all of our lives better with his witty sense of humor, and his unselfishness. Michael was intelligent, worked hard, and loved all who entered his life. He was always sure to have a smile for you or something saucy to say.

Michael was born on April 25,1975 in Oxbow, Saskatchewan. He grew up in Weyburn and was well known. Michael attended school in Weyburn and worked at many places around there such as Savanna Well Servicing and Aaron Well Service. Michael had a great love for life.

Michael is survived by his mother, Linda (Mike) of Weyburn, SK; daughter, Sierra; his sisters, Donna (Jay) of Assiniboia, SK; Karie (Chad) of Chaplin, SK as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is predeceased by his Grandma and Grandpa Laurent, as well as Aunties and Uncles.

Michael was the happiest spending time with his loved ones, on his skateboard and in the kitchen cooking and baking. He had a great love for antiques. He was very sentimental over childhood memorabilia and loved to make people laugh while singing in a unique voice.

A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Zion Lutheran Church, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Pastor Victoria Mwamasika officiating.
