Janet was predeceased by her parents, Melvin and Mary Vaughan; husband, Harvey Hanson; brothers, Jack (Doreen) Vaughan and Robert Vaughan; sisters, Shirley (Ron) Torgunrud and Fern (Des) Matthews; brothers and sister in law, Don (Gladys) Hanson, Anne Hanson and Brian Paul and nieces, Melanie Hanson and Kelly Paul and nephew, Bruce Torgunrud.
Janet will be lovingly remembered by her son, Wayne (Carol) Hanson of Calgary, AB; daughter, Shannon Hanson of Saskatoon, SK; daughter, Patty (Don) Goertzen of Regina, SK; grandchildren, Ashley, Chelsey and Breanna Goertzen and Jennifer, Angela and Chris Hanson; brothers and sisters in law, Sheryn Vaughan, DeWayne Hanson, Verna Paul, Wes (Linda) Hanson, Shirley (David) Lidbury and Merlin (Nita) Hanson as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
