Alex was born April 7, 1916 in Louisville and passed away May 7, 2011 in Broomfield. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary and daughter, Karen. He spent his career as a custom home builder in the northwest metro area building some of the first homes in Broomfield. He was a WWII veteran receiving the Purple Heart. Visitation will be Wed., 4-7pm and funeral service Thurs., 12pm, both at Crown Hill Funeral Home. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
