Alice Humber Rhyne, age 87, of Littleton, CO, passed away on May 22, 2020 at Accel at Golden Ridge Care Facility and went to be with the Lord. Alice was born on September 1, 1932 to Frank and Rubye Mae Humber in Quitman County, GA. She moved to Colorado in 1972 to live with her sister Nancy and her family. Alice married John Rhyne on August 12, 1978 and John preceded her in death in 2008. Alice then came to live with her nephew John Buchholz, who survives her, and stayed with him until her death. She is survived by three sisters; Mary Frances Olds of Somerset, NJ, Nancy Buchholz (Richard) of Lakewood, CO, Lillian Fielding of Thomasville, GA, and one brother; John Humber (Sheila) of Adel, GA. Alice is also survived by four step-children from her husband John; three daughters Sheryl Bosley (David) of Mesquite, TX, Lynn Sweet of Alaska, Karen Stansberry (John) of Havana, FL and one son David Rhyne (Doris) of Arkansas; and by many other family members and friends.
A private graveside service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020, and a memorial service will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Ken Caryl Church 8395 West Ken Caryl Avenue, Littleton, CO 80128 or online at www.kencarylchurch.com.
