Junior was a loving father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.
His family was his greatest blessing, with his son at the top. He loved spending time with his son. His pride was watching him in Kung Fu. He enjoyed taking him swimming, playing video games, riding bikes, and enjoying the outdoors. He also enjoyed watching scary movies and introducing his son to movies he enjoyed as a boy. "This is a good one son, you have to see this one" I heard him say all the time.
Junior expressed himself in his arts and music. He took care of those who took care of him.
He had many nicknames:
June Bug.. Laughed and loved with all his heart.
Flaco.. he was skinny and the homie who'd throw down at mealtime and take your chips in a game of poker.
Dogface.. he would inspire and teach you how to draw, shade, and support your love of the arts and give you his art books.
Gonzo.. he would drink all of the soda, eat all your food and fall asleep on your couch.
He loved to play video games, watch music videos and never got enough of You Tube and CNN.
Junior is survived by his son Andrew Felix Martinez, His parents Andrew A. Martinez (Arlene) and Sandra J. Madrigal, His brother Tino Martinez, Sisters Zeandra, Zayla and Suzy Zak. Grandparents Margaret Martinez and Ramona Felix. Along with many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends.
Losing him at such an early age has devastated us all.
