Fondly known as Bev or Bevy.
Born April 2, 1935 to Richard and Velma Markwood in Denver, Colorado.
She passed at home September 6, 2022 in the loving arms of her lifetime partner Daniel D. Crews. Dan can lovingly tell you about their 87 year lifetime story. They were married 65 of their 87 years together.
She retires to her heavenly home, leaving her brother, Richard "Dick" Markwood (Martha Romero) of Santa Fe, NM and sister in law, Sue Crews of Denver. Her life's legacy is her 4 beautiful daughters; Judy D. Lewis (Demetrius "D" Lewis), Tracie L. O'Neill (Laurence "Larry" O'Neill), Dee A. Mott (Dustin "Dusty" Mott) and Penni R. Crews (Michael "Mike" Rose). She was blessed with 12 grandchildren and their spouses, 23 great grandchildren and their spouses, 6 great great grandchildren, and a small army of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Bev was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Velma Markwood, her parents in law, Harold and Ruth Crews, brother, Harold R. Crews (Bob), sister in law, Donna Yantz, son in law, Laurence O'Neill, grandson, Joshua Jemison, and great grandson, Cameron O'Neill.
She loved her God and praised Him all through her life.
Dan was her world and her second strength, caring for her to the very end of her life. Her daughters are a reflection of kindness, generosity and her love of life. She loved to bowl and golf, the Colorado Rockies and the Denver Broncos were her sports teams. She loved reading books, working crossword puzzles, and computer games that challenged her mind. That allowed her to keep sharp and quick witted when Dan started his joking with her, as he always has with his family and friends.
Bev, Mom, you will be deeply missed
We Love you
