                                                                       From the first moment I saw you I  believed you came from the palm of Gods hand. You looked like an angel when you came into this world and you looked like an angel going. 
                                                                        I believe that God is good and he had his plan for your life from the beginning. I am grateful for the time you were in my life. the memories of your birth, your childhood and becoming a Father. Each memory is forever engraved into my soul. You were a blessing to me and everyone who met you. Thank you for the love you gave. Thank you for trying hard. I only wish that life had not been so hard on you . I love you Jake. I've always loved you and I will cherish that love all the way to heaven when it is my time to leave this place and go home to God.

I miss you, Jake. I've been tempted to text you a few times but then I remember... I'm so sorry I didn't know for so long. A white dragonfly flew up to me right after I caught my breath from crying when I found out. I've never seen one before and I like to think it was a message from you.  You'll always be a brother to me. And I thank you for our interactions throughout the years. Even when you wouldn't stop trying to bum cigarettes off me back in high school. I'll see you in my dreams soon.

You always had a way of putting a smile on everyones face you were around. I'm so happy I was able to see you a few weeks before this happened. We both said our apologies and gave eachother a huge hug, thank you for that. I love you man, always through all of the nonsense. Hey Jake, not really sure what to say. You were my best friend in this whole world. A piece of me died inside with you that I’m never going to get back. I’ve never felt more alone in my life.  So much left to say, left to do, trying to think of all the good times. 
The great times.
Remember all the times screwing around in Mr. Tambarino’s Shop class, testing his patience.  Deep down we knew he enjoyed it, so many things he let us slide by with. And the book report we did in English class, a whole oral and book report on a ‘Hero’ Story. We chose Dude Where’s My Car. Those guy’s saved the world from that ‘Super hot giant alien’...definitely was worth more than a C-

This helped a little for the moment at least. Started this balling, got a couple laughs in, now here come the water works. 
I love you so much bud. You were an amazing father, your girls couldn’t have gotten a better one, and the best friend a guy could ever even pray for. Your going to be deeply missed, on my mind every day, and in my heart. I love you Jake. Shibby in Peace brother.

Jake, we have so many memories since you guys were little guys and as you all became men. You guys and my boys, football and baseball, church and holidays. Lots of memories. I believe you are at peace now and with your brother. You are already missed very much. This has been shocking. And sad. And unbelievable. I am grateful for the memories. ❤️

Still can't completely wrap my head around this. I'll forever cherish my time and memories in Colorado. Trips to Estes Park, Rides through the mountains, The pumpkin patch, family dinners and my very first Bronchos game. Taking you to the hospital to await the arrival of Arwyn. Most of all our talks, your nit picking to the point of making me mad. ( Then always doing something to make me laugh, just so you could say "See I knew you couldn't stay mad at me"  There's not a doubt in my mind that you are so enjoying your time with Jesse, Papa, Granny, Uncle Matt, the rest of our family and most importantly Jesus.  My heart aches for our family.  But I smile knowing and almost seeing the smile on your face as you walked thru Heavens gates. Aunt Linda, Uncle Tom,  and Stacy I so wish I could be there, just know I'm there in spirit. Love you guys. 

I remember Jake as a tender and kind young man in my third-grade Sunday School class.
