

Carlos Francisco Pedraza, aged 69, passed away on December 19, 2023, in Denver, CO, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. Born on September 23, 1954, in Santa Clara, Cuba, raised in Miami, Fl. Carlos was a man of unwavering strength and spirited nature.
Carlos, a loving father, dedicated his life to his only child, Jenifer. He embraced the dual role of a nurturing single parent, earning the endearing nickname of "Mr. Mom". His home became a sanctuary of warmth and delicious meals, where he lovingly served not only his daughter but also all her childhood friends. Carlos's love for family extended to his two grandsons, Liam and Alec, who brought immense joy to his heart.
A man of many talents, Carlos excelled in his professional pursuits. From his role as a Construction Supervisor to his time as a Chef and Manager of several local restaurants, including JJ's American Diner. Additionally, Carlos showcased his managerial skills as a Project Manager, contributing his expertise to various companies, including the Army Corps of Engineers.
Beyond his professional achievements, Carlos found solace in the simple pleasures of life. He possessed a zest for worldly exploration and delighted in embarking on adventurous journeys. Whether it was traveling to far-off lands, taking road trips across the U.S.A. , enjoying the crisp mountain air, tending to his beloved garden, or casting his fishing line into the crystal blue waters of the Florida Keys, he found tranquility in nature's embrace. Carlos's love for his grandsons, daughter, and son-in-law was immeasurable, and he treasured watching the boys grow up, moments spent together, creating cherished memories.
Carlos was preceded in death by his mother, Angela Pedraza and his brother, Leonardo Pedraza. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Jenifer, and her devoted husband, Alan Eisenstein. His grandsons, Liam and Alec, brought immeasurable joy to his life. He is also survived by his sister, Isabel Patino, and her husband, Robert, along with his brother, Jose "Rudy" Pedraza. Carlos leaves behind a his niece, Margie, his nephews, Robert Jr., Carlos, Rudy, Tomas and Joseph, extended family members, and lifelong friends who will forever hold him dear to their hearts.
A ceremony to honor Carlos's life will be held on Saturday, January 6, from 12:30 to 1:30, at The Chapel of the First United Methodist Church of Coral Gables, located at 536 Coral Way, Coral Gables, FL 33134. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Alzheimer's Association, organizations close to Carlos's heart.
