Christian Todd Hildenbrand, 48, of Frederick, Colorado, passed away on January 22, 2026, after a courageous battle with melanoma. He was born on January 2, 1978, at the Navy Medical Center in Agana, Guam, to Robert J. Hildenbrand and Bonnie Lynn Cameron.
Christian grew up in a Navy family, living in Guam, Hawaii, and Virginia Beach before settling in Crawfordville, Florida. His upbringing instilled in him a strong sense of character, resilience, and a love for adventure.
Christian was known for his unwavering faith in God and for being a pillar of strength for his family. He lived life with enthusiasm and joy—whether cheering for his beloved Florida State Seminoles (Go NOLES!), fishing at the nearest hole, spending time on the golf course, or grilling and cooking for his family. “Chris loves the kids,” a phrase he often said, perfectly reflected his devotion to his family and his pride in being their biggest fan. He was his children’s greatest supporter, proudly cheering from the foul line at baseball games, from the stands during volleyball matches, and from the arena during horsemanship competitions. His encouragement, laughter, and presence meant everything to those who loved him.
He is survived by his father, Robert J. Hildenbrand; his loving wife, Kristina Boyd; his children, Destiny, Jordan, Dionna, and Eliana; and his brother, Andrew Hildenbrand. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Lynn Cameron.
Memorial services will be held on February 6, 2026, at Crown Hill Funeral Home, with a private reception to follow immediately afterward.
Christian will be remembered for his faith, strength, and deep devotion to his family. His love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” —Psalm 23:1–4
