She is survived by Marcella, Marylou, Becky, Juanita, Ramona and Arthur and one more deceased sister and 4 deceased brothers. She enjoyed her relationships with her siblings, she loved and looked forward to seeing them at family gatherings.
Clara was blessed with seven children, Debbie (Tom) Solis, Roy Barela (Lorraine), Richard (Pam) Barela, Ronald Barela (deceased), Linda Barela (Victor), Renee Barela, and Christopher Barela (deceased). Along with fifteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
Clara retired from Denver Health after working there for 30 years in various administrative support roles. She took pride in her work and enjoyed the many friends she made while working there. However, she was very excited to retire!
Clara was a strong woman of faith. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved her entire family unconditionally. She adored her children, but was most proud of their greatest gift to her, which were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had her own special bond with each one of them.
She also was a longtime member of the Eagles Club. She enjoyed gathering with the other members and treasured the valuable relationships she made. To all that knew her, Clara was a very loving and caring woman. She had a gift of giving and sharing that exceeded the call of duty. Clara Bell, (as Roy would call her) would always be the first to volunteer to help anyone that asked.
We will all miss Clara and will remember and share the precious moments we spent with her. Although the pain of her loss is hurtful; knowing that she was ready to be with our Lord and Savior, along with her beloved sons in heaven, allows us to accept her passing. We know, her Momma, Chrissy and Ronnie greeted her at the gates of heaven and she is now in peace.
