Clara was the second twin born 2 minutes after Helen Mae Cook. The girls were identical, a surprise double blessing.
Clara grew up in Globeville where she went to Swansea and Elyrea grade school, graduating from Manual High School in 1949.
In 1950, Clara married Ruben Graeb. They were blessed with two daughters, Carolyn Sue and Linda Kay.
While raising her family, Clara worked for the Farm Bureau, Leprino Foods and Merrill Lynch. She loved tending to her home and her garden. She enjoyed being outdoors, traveling and spending time with friends and family after she retired.
She overcame many obstacles and personal tragedies during her life time relying on her faith, friends and family.
Clara was blessed with two grandchildren, Heidi DuBois and Wendy Stanley, and three great- grandchildren, Kaitlyn DuBois, Savannah Stanley, and Zachary DuBois. She looked forward to their visits and cherished the time she spent with them. Especially during the last few years when she was home bound.
Lovingly missed by her daughter Linda and son-in law Russ who were her caregivers for the last eighteen months of her life; grandchildren Heidi (Michael) DuBois, Wendy Stanley; great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Dubois, Savannah Stanley, Zachary DuBois; brother Harry Koehler and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Clara was survived by her twin sister, Helen Cook, who then passed away hours after her.
