Daniel Gonzalez Resendiz, un amado padre, esposo, hermano y amigo, fue encontrado fallecido el 5 de enero de 2025 en Denver, Colorado. Nacido el 21 de julio de 1961 en Zimapán, Hidalgo, México, Daniel fue el querido hijo de Feliza Gonzalez, quien hablaba el dialecto otomí, y de Juan Resendiz.

La vida temprana de Daniel estuvo marcada por el espíritu trabajador de sus padres. La historia de cómo se conocieron mientras trabajaban en Hidalgo es un recuerdo familiar muy preciado: su padre vendía carbón y hojas a su madre.

El primer empleo de Daniel fue en una mina, donde mantenía bandas transportadoras y trabajaba como soldador. Daniel fue precedido en la muerte por sus hijos, Eric Daniel Amaro y presumiblemente Jasmin Daniela Amaro. Le sobreviven su esposa, Ana Maria Amaro; su hijastra, Silvia Amaro; sus nietas, Sarahy y Adeli; y sus hermanos en México Alejandro, José, Ernestina y Lucía, así como sobrinos y sobrinas, quienes llevarán adelante su memoria y amor.

La vida de Daniel se definió por su arduo trabajo, su amor a la familia y la alegría que encontraba en los placeres simples de la vida. Será profundamente extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron.

Daniel Gonzalez Resendiz, a beloved father, husband, brother, and friend, was found deceased on January 5, 2025, in Denver, Colorado. Born on July 21, 1961, in Zimapán, Hidalgo, Mexico, Daniel was the cherished son of Feliza Gonzalez, who spoke the Otomí dialect, and Juan Resendiz.

Daniel’s early life was marked by the hardworking spirit of his parents. The story of how they met while working in Hidalgo is a treasured family memory: his father sold coal and leaves to his mother.

Daniel’s first job was at a mine, where he maintained conveyor belts and worked as a welder. Over time, he found his passion in masonry, excelling at bricklaying with skill and dedication. After three years, he mastered forklift operation, a trade he took great pride in.

One of Daniel’s happiest memories was from his years as a young father, playing “caballito” with his children, a time filled with love and joy. He often reminisced fondly about his days playing soccer, one of his favorite pastimes that connected him to his roots. He also cherished looking at and talking about the moon, as it reminded him of his beloved mother, Feliza.

Daniel was preceded in death by his children, Eric Daniel Amaro and presumed Jasmine Daniela Amaro. He is survived by his wife, Ana María Amaro; his stepdaughter, Silvia Amaro; his granddaughters, Sarahy and Adeli; and his siblings in Mexico, Alejandro, José, Ernestina, and Lucía, as well as nieces and nephews, who will carry forward his memory and love.

Daniel’s life was defined by his hard work, love for his family, and the joy he found in life’s simple pleasures. He will be deeply missed.

A memorial burial service will take place on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Olinger Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery – Crown Hill at 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Family and friends are warmly invited to join in celebrating Daniel’s life and sharing cherished memories.

The family kindly requests privacy from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM to allow them time for their final farewell. Guests are asked to arrive by 1:50 PM to park in the designated staging area and prepare for the burial procession, which will lead to the 2:00 PM burial service.
