Daniel Robert Oddino was born on the morning of August 21, 1984, in Denver, Colorado. Always a happy baby, he lit up our lives from the start. Constantly on the move, he skipped crawling and went straight to walking at the age of 10 months. He loved playing with other kids at daycare and then at school – wherever he went he always made friends. His years at Thomson Elementary flew by. Dan was a good student, despite his gift of gab (just like his father). In the Spring of 1995 Daniel’s youngest sister Lizzie became a very special part of Dan’s life. A friendship started that would last forever. Whether off on bicycles, playing badminton, video games, or running home terrified after mischievous play, brother and sister were together. Growing up in Arvada, Colorado, he attended Arvada High School, lettering in Cross Country Track his sophomore year. Our family moved to Grand Junction during Dan’s junior year, and Dan transferred to Grand Junction High School and became editor of the school newspaper. He attended Mesa State College for two years and then decided to get serious and go to Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Dan fulfilled his dreams at CSU and graduated from the College of Agriculture with a degree in Landscape Design in May of 2009. Following graduation, Dan started his career with Europa Design. He was looking forward to moving out of Fort Collins and travelling. After a brief illness, Dan passed on peacefully, Sunday, August 15, 2010.
