Dick was born August 25, 1926 in Woonsocket, South Dakota. He married Bettilou Bayles on April 10, 1952 in Denver. Dick was a WWII Veteran who served in the United States Army. He was a family man; a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Dick worked in the concrete business for 40+ years prior to retirement. Throughout his life he enjoyed bowling and race car driving and was a true cowboy and horseman. He loved fishing, camping and being in the great outdoors. He was a former member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the Englewood Racing Association.
Dick will be deeply missed by his wife of nearly 67 years, Bettilou; children: Sherri Sheeran, Robert Bayles and Richard (Brigette) Bayles; grandchildren: Dana Sheeran, David Sheeran, Ryan (Misha) Bayles, Lexy (Troy) Ramsdell, Nikki Zack, Kelly Bayles, Tony (Katelyn) Bayles and Malissa Bayles, and nine great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Tony and Lydia Bayles and siblings: Robert Bayles, Dorothy Green, Walter Bayles, Betty Marchitti and Frances Malito.
