Donald L Brose

Don was born on September 28, 1944 in Seward, NE and grew up in Milford, NE where he played football and basketball and spent his youth working on the family farm. After high school, Don received a football scholarship from Done College where he played linebacker for 1 year before transferring to South East Community College where he majored in Data Processing.

Don married his wife Joyce on August 6, 1965 in Lincoln, NE. At this time he began his career at the National Bank of Commerce Trust and Savings as a Programmer/Analyst. He left in 1970 to join Mid Continent Computer Services in Englewood, CO. Don rose in the ranks and was eventually promoted to Senior Vice President of systems and programming. In 1994, Don returned to Lincoln to join Fiserv. He worked in multiple positions during this time and ultimately retired in 2008.

Don was a well regarded friend and colleague. We all remember him for his strong work ethic, loving nature, lively spirit and encouraging words. He was a firm manager, quick with a joke and always had a kind word to say.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Ellen and his 3 children. Daughter and son-in-law Angela and Namath Chavez of Henderson, NV; son and daughter in law Michael and Michelle Brose of Highlands Ranch, CO; daughter and son in law Kirsten and Andy Blunt of Westminster, CO. Grandchildren: Maya and Tanner Chavez, Grayson and Hannah Brose, Abigail and Jackson Blunt; Sister Carol Lacharite of Londonderry, New Hampshire; Niece and Nephews: Dean Lacharite, Rick Dugdale, Jenifer Dugdale and Ryan Dugdale.
