Donna Rae Grimshaw, born October 20, 1931, Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Friend and Valentine Angel crossed over to the comfort of Heaven and to those who have gone before her on February 14, 2017. Joyfully honoring her memory are her five children Scott, Lynn, Steve (Wendy), Lisa (Tony), SHANE (Kimberly); her adoring grandchildren Amanda (Fritz), Kayla (Travis), Raeanna (Dustin), Rebecca (Owen), Dalton, John (Tiffany), Thomas, Clare, Anna; her great grandchildren Ava, Brody and those on the way. Some of her favorite things included her beach house, Daisies, the Crystal Pier, high heels, hats and red lipstick. She will always be remembered for her happy heart, generous nature, sense of style, resilience and her far reaching love for any and all who crossed her path. “I leave you with these words: God, acceptance, adaptability and appreciation for my surroundings and my family. Have I told you I love you today?”
Following her wishes, a private family service will be held. Her cremated remains will be placed in her niche at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery, Cremation Garden.
The family suggest donations be given to The Denver Hospice, 8299 East Lowry Boulevard, Denver, CO 80230, In Donna's loving memory.
