Dorothy Ann (Giba) Menzies, 86, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital on December 22, 2012, after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert E. Menzies and is survived by their daughter Dee Anne Menzies
of Lafayette. Dot was born on July 28, 1926, the eighth and last child to Michael and Susie Giba of Denver. She survived the deaths of her parents, six brothers, Michael, John, Joseph, George, Paul and Steven and one sister, Esther. Numerous
nieces, nephews and extended family survive her. Dot was raised in East Denver and graduated from Manual High School in 1944. She married the love of her life, "Bob" on June 27, 1946. They settled in Wheat Ridge, in a home the two of
them built together. They enjoyed playing golf and made many trips to their favorite vacation spot in Hawai`i. At her request, no services will be held. She will be laid to rest with Bob at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
