Duane Slocum moved on to heaven on Saturday, August 28, 2021. Duane was a Navy Korean War Veteran and is survived by his wife Kay of 65 years, son Steve (Tammy), daughter Jody Cooper (Chris Bonadies), grandsons Brandon Cooper (Maggie and great granddaughters Ayla and Hannah), Matthew Cooper (Heather Prime). A memorial service will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10 am at Faith Church Fort Collins at 3920 Shields St. A reception will be held immediately after at the church. Committal service to follow, 2:30 pm, Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery, staging area "B". In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Samaritan’s Purse at samaritanspurse.org
