Edith Louise Luedtke, 91, died peacefully in Lakewood, Colorado on November 25th, 2020.

Edith is survived by daughters, Karen Fay Luedtke and Robin Luedtke of Arvada, Colorado; granddaughter, April Stites of Westminster, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Luedtke, her parents, Helmut and Amanda Kargel of Detroit, Michigan.

Edith was born on July 3rd, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. She was married to Bob for 64 loving years. She graduated Cum Laude from Southwestern High School in Detroit, Michigan. Early on, she worked for J.Walter Thompson as a media buyer for Ford Motor Company Distributorships. Then, she focused on being an amazing housewife. Her family remembers her as fun loving, caring and living her life with purpose. She was always there for family and friends to be the chaperone, support activities and help wherever there was a need.

Edith enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, sewing and golfing. She was an active and dedicated member of the Hosanna Tabor Lutheran Church where she was named “Woman of the Year”.

The family will hold a private memorial to celebrate Edith’s life.
